The Semco® model 285E portable electric mixer was designed to assist the mixing of Semkit® packages. The spindle assembly rotates the mixing rod while the operator strokes the cartridge vertically along the length of the mixing rod. The cartridge must be held with gloved hands to prevent it from rotating. This permits the dasher inside the cartridge to thoroughly mix the materials. The bell timer alerts the operator when the mix cycle is completed.
The mixer weighs less than 4.55 kg ("10 pounds). It is equipped with a handle for portability.The high torque motor is of heavy duty construction to with• stand the rigors of industrial use.
